Magic Sword

A magical sword that gives +6 attack damage which is as good as an Iron Sword. This can be used as a magical wand to cast spells that the user has earnt on their wand, spells are detailed within our Spells Wiki. The benefit to this sword is that although low damage allows you to cast spells at the same time! The spells it gives work in the same way as on the wands, however, it won’t give spells that are wand exclusives. Like wands, the sword can be ranked up and works using the enchantment table. The user can use Q to access the spells inventory for quick castability.

Magic Bow

This is a really fascinating item that acts as a Wand but for arrow-related spells. It can be used to shoot magical arrows as well as normal arrows. To upgrade your bow you use the enchantment table as explained in the spells category below. Each spell is listed below for clarity as to what you can unlock. More magical Arrows are unlocked with spell points and can also earn you spell points when used. The Magic bow includes spells that are not included within your Wand, spellbook, or Magic Sword.

By default, you get the Normal Arrow spell and the Poison Arrow spell. The Bow is crafted by:

Poison Arrow Spell

Fire an arrow with a Poisoned tip that explodes upon impact and lasts for 3 seconds. Available as default

Grapple Arrow Spell

Fire an arrow that pulls you towards it. Lasts for 45 seconds. Cast again to deactivate Available to Archer for 300 SP

Ice Arrow Spell

Fire an arrow that freezes the area where it lands, it lasts for 10 seconds. Available to Archer for 700 SP.

Blink Arrow Spell

Fire an arrow that teleports you to where it lands. Available to Archer for 1000 SP.

Fire Arrow Spell

Fire an arrow that lights a fire where it lands, it lasts for 10 seconds. Available to Archer for 800 SP.

Shock Arrow Spell

Fire an Arrow that Electrifies the target, it lasts for 4 seconds. Available to Archer for 1200 SP.

Bomb Arrow Spell 

Fire an Arrow that explodes where it lands, it lasts for 30 seconds. Available to Archer for 1500 SP.

Light Arrow Spell

Fire an Arrow of powerful pure light, it lasts for 5 seconds. Available to Archer for 5000 SP

 

Upgrades

Upgrades For weapons, Tools, and armor:

The recipe is the same for all tools/armor, you just need to upgrade like Netherite in a Smithing Table. (only works for Vanilla armor/armor detailed in this section. It does not apply to ranged weapons or anything Magic related. To unlock you will need to craft the Prismarine Alloy. 

 

Ranged Weapons

Longbow

Increases arrow velocity (allows you to hit your target quicker) slightly.

Recurve Bow

Increases arrow velocity (allows you to hit your target quicker). This can be upgraded to a Compound bow.

Compound Bow

Greatly increases arrow velocity (allows you to hit your target quicker). 

Longsword bow

This is both a long sword and a bow, only used for Iron

Redstone bow

This is a bow that has higher arrow velocity when holding Redstone if your offhand

Burst crossbow

Vertical multi-shot when holding Redstone in your offhand

Repeating Crossbow

Fires multiple projectiles when Redstone is in the offhand

Heavy Sword Bow

This is essentially a Netherite sword and a bow all in one!

 

Handheld Weapons

For reference, the attack speed of a regular Minecraft sword is 1.6.

Additionally, each weapon has a special bonus and so the below will explain how these bonuses are calculated and how you should craft each item.

Knife:

O- Attack speed: 3

 

Bonuses:

O- 100% more damage to players without a chest plate

O- Getting 3 consecutive hits gives strength to the user.

 

Crafting:

O- Using each tier, Wood, Stone, Gold, Emerald, and Diamond

For Netherite you can craft this direct from Netherite scrap as shown below:

Rapier:

O- Attack speed: 1.9

 

Bonuses:

O- 5% more damage to armored players(+5% for each armor piece they have equipped)

O- Disables shields for 2 seconds

 

Crafting:

O- Using each tier, Wood, Stone, Gold, Emerald, and Diamond

Katana:

O- Attack speed: 1.7

 

Bonuses:

O- 50% more damage if there is no item in your offhand

O- Slightly increases movement speed

O- 20% chance for a hit to do 10% more damage when there is no item in your offhand

Scythe:

O- Attack speed: 1

 

Bonuses:

O- 50% more damage if there is no item in your offhand

O- 50% more damage to players without a chest plate

Chorus Blade

This sword allows the user to teleport like an ender pearl for free every so often by clicking right-click while holding this item. It can be crafted by the following:

Master Sword

The legendary sword seals the darkness with 10 Attack Damage, This is up to 2 damage over the Netherite sword. The item is bound and will be retained upon death. It is crafted below:

Emerald Weapons

Craft this in the same way as you would craft any other Tools but with Emeralds! Emerald weapons are between Gold and Diamond weapons.
