Proximity chat is a Discord Server integration and is available on our Survival and our RPG servers, it allows you to join a lobby in Discord and the Symbot will automatically connect you to a separate call when you get near to someone in your proximity in the game! Eg. you can be relaxing at your base and suddenly another player comes in! This is a popular feature in the Minecraft community due to how the Hermitcraft server did this.

Timed Rewards

What are timed rewards?

At Symbiplex we want to reward you for playing on our server regardless of your choice. Maybe you want to just Survive and interact in Survival, or you fancy a much larger adventure and fighting the mages in RPG, or you are an artist and want to make pixel art in Creative! We want to reward you for this. Every hour you play on each server will grant you a reward, this is so simple. Every hour you get rewards.

The Rewards

You get Symbiplex Levels and Symbits for your troubles as you play!

The more you play the more rewards you get via our Leveling system. As you rank up you get more rewards every hour!

Check out our Symbiplex Leveling wiki page for information on where the rewards will unlock!

Quests

What are Quests?

At Symbiplex we have over 1000 quests for you to complete across multiple different categories, always making sure you have something to do and complete. Quests are available on our Survival and RPG servers. Quests when complete can allow you to get Symbits to spend in our shops as well as Symbiplex Levels to rank up and unlock more rewards.

Symbiplex levels allow you to have more Quests running at the same time allowing you to unlock the rewards faster! You also have to claim your rewards to be able to start questing, so make sure to claim your Symbiplex Level rewards!

This wiki page will walk you through how Questing works.

In our Survival Server, the Warp menu will display warps to the different quest NPCs that are scattered around spawn should you not want to use the GUI!

Trading Signs

Using The signs

We utilise trading signs here at Symbiplex as an alternative way to sell items to other players. This wiki page will explain how you do this. The intention is that this will be a backup feature ahead of our Shop Plot shopping feature. This feature builds on the features set out in our admin shops and works in a similar way using Symbits. Players typically use these types of signs to sell items to other players.

Right-clicking the sign by the owner with the item being sold will restock the sign with more items.

Right-clicking the sign by the owner collects the items/cash stored in the sign.

Anybody else Right-clicking the sign will buy the items being sold if they have the ‘cost’ on them.

<item> can be a shortname ie ‘bonemeal’ or itemId ‘351,15’

NOTE: You need to have the amount of the item you are selling in your inventory.

How to Create the Signs

Line1: Must be ‘[Trade]’
Line2: What you wantLine3: What you are giving away

Line2:
It should be'<amount> <cost>’

Line3:
It should be:
‘<amount> <cost>:<total>’Total is the amount to place on the sign.

If the syntax is correct
Your name will appear on line 4.
NOTE: The above pictures show $ as the currency rather than Symbits, within the server this will be different

Player Shop Plots

What are Player Shop Plots?

This is a completely custom-coded and unique feature here at Symbiplex, the function for players to rent their own Plots in spawn. Much like in our Creative server where plots can be given to players, in Survival you can have custom-sized plots in different areas. We have 2 types of plots, World edit plots, and custom area plots. World Edit plots are uniquely within the Symbiennice (custom shopping hall or cloth hall). Custom Plots can be seen while walking around marked in Blackstone Slabs.

Worldedit Shop Plots ^

Custom Area Shop plots ^

Each plot has a unique and different price which comprises elements such as the number of blocks in the plot, distance from spawn, and any multiplier applied due to the “uniqueness” of the location. Plots typically closer to higher-traffic areas will cost more than plots further away. An example of this is the Symbienicce Plots near the Crates area are more expensive than those in the middle or at the ends of the Hall, furthest away from the doorways.

Plots can be rented for Symbit currency and are automatically taken from your balance. If you do not pay, you will lose your plot and all of the items within it, including items and signs.

Within your plot, it is for you to decide what you do, you can build a cute detailed shop or you can build a huge skyscraper to get noticed, it is totally up to you. You use these areas to sell items, by using Trading signs and in the future our custom shopping plugin.

Obtaining a Player Shop Plot

Obtaining a plot is easy! It is simple as running the following command:

/shopplot list

From here you can cycle through and view the plot you want to buy. Once you have walked around spawn and found a location you want, the plot will be marked with a sign that will match up with the name within the /shopplot list GUI. Once in here select the plot and check if it is available (empty map = available  / complete map = unavailable).

Click on the plot and press the green button:

Chat will pop up and ask you to confirm. Please type confirm into chat and the plot is yours! You can now do anything you want with your plot to sell your items to players.

Shop list gui

Within the plot GUI there are a number of features to explain to help you in your understanding of the plugin:

O – Maps – Here you will see the plots in the form of maps. (empty map = available  / complete map = unavailable)

O – Hopper – Allows you to filter between all plots, available plots, and unavailable plots

O – Barrier – Exits the menu

O – Book – Shows your owned plots

O – Arrows – Allows you to cycle through the pages and go back to previous pages.

The Plot Screen

Within the plot screen there are a number of features we want to explain!

O – Grass Block – this displays information for the plot (relating to the one you select) like the below:

O – Compass – This allows you to teleport to the plot if you want to go to a specific shop to purchase an item, right-clicking allows you to change the amount of time to teleport to the plot for.

O – TNT – This allows you to clear the plot, and this resets the plot to default. Obviously, you can only clear your own plot!

Other Features

Cancel plot

To cancel your plot, load up /shopplot list, find your plot, and the usual green button will change to red.

Press this, it will then ask if you want to confirm your deletion.

To rename your plot

To rename your plot so it displays within the Shopplot list with its new name, go to /shopplot list, and find your plot. From there click on the grass block to display the info, your screen will look like this:

This will pop up a chat message and it will allow you to rename your plot!

within /shopplot list you will see your shop name in the GUI.

To display information about the plot you are standing in

Simply run the command /shopplot info when you are standing in a plot and this will display the information of the plot

Plot Visibility

This allows you to toggle the display of your plot in the Shopplot GUi, this is useful when you want to do a “black-market” shop and hide from your fellow members or when your shop is not ready for release. Run the command/shopplot list, and find your plot. From there click on the grass block to display the info, your screen will look like this:

AutoSell Chests

How auto-sell chests work

Have you ever wanted to automatically sell items when you have a super fast farm but you do not have enough chests to store all of your items? This feature, not only reduces potential lag from such farms but also allows an automatic way for you to receive money for your hard work.

There are as simple as placing the chest down and all sellable items into them. The items will immediately after a couple of seconds sell directly to the server and you will be rewarded the difference. These are hopper compatible which means you can connect to long-running farms or use these as an overflow chest.

How to get auto-sell chests

Autosell chests are granted at certain Symbiplex Levels that can be seen here. At these levels, you unlock permission that will grant you access to another chest. The initial cost of a chest is 25000 Symbits and each chest you buy is 50% more expensive than the previous one.

To get your chest visit the command’s inventory within our Server shop plugin to purchase. Your first chest costs you 25,000 Symbits and every additional chest you purchase will be 50% more expensive.

Adding players to your chest

Each chest is given a UUID, much like a player when they join the server to give access to a player. First get your UUID by picking up your Autosell chest and writing this down, it will look something like this:

Now from here, you type the following command with the UUID of your chest

You will get a confirmation message to say your friend has been added! They can now access the Autosell chest

Voting

Voting

Voting on our Server is key to getting us to be seen by more players and increasing our community. It is a fantastic way for you to give back to us and will only take a couple of minutes to vote on all 8 sites. At Symbiplex, we want to reward you for Voting as this really helps us so much we want to give something in return. This page will walk through how voting at Symbiplex works as well as some of the rewards you can be given for doing this.

We have a special page that embeds a lot of our vote sites and can be visited – here.

Survival will grant you extra Claim blocks, Balance, and Voting Keys

RPG will give you extra Balance

Symbisky will give you extra Balance

How does Voting help us grow?

Voting sites are designed so that the best and most popular servers show towards the top, this means the more votes a server gets the more popular they are. Being higher up on these lists means the chance for a potential future player to find our server will increase as they will ultimately find our servers before another. Voting gets us up these lists and is a free way for us to bring in players through the support of the community.

Symbiplex is designed with you in mind, in order to do this the community has to work together to grow. Please take the time to vote and support us, it won’t take you long to do and if all our players do this we will grow very fast allowing us to grow and develop our server and make the playing experience at Symbiplex even greater.

Global Crates

Crates

Our Crates feature is across the whole server and combines a mixture of Crates for Survival, Voting as well as Cosmetics and Pets. This wiki page will take you through the basics of claiming and using these crates as well as share what you can gain from this. Global Crates and Keys will be separate from Survival Crates as there will be some differences between them all!

Crates on our servers will usually have their own unique warp to claim using:

/warp crates

/crates

or /warps and finding the warp within the warp navigation menu.

The majority of our crates will have their own Chest with holograms above them to describe what they look like. An example of this is Survival Crates:

As you can see that there are a number of different Crates on our server to access.

Crates + Keys basics

Right-clicking on the crate will give you a menu that shows all of the items within the Crate. An example of this is the Vote Crate:

The music disc 11 will be able to be clicked on in order to close the menu.

You can highlight the reward to know what it is and this will give you the chance of receiving this reward. For example, if we want the Wither Rose icon:

Once you have a key left clicking the Crate will open the create and process the animation.

Note: Survival does not just have Crates that require Keys but also Crates that can be opened directly in the inventory.
